CD-Roms for General Motors
Prion Interactive worked with Jak Media to produce six multimedia cd-roms for General Motors. The CDs were interactive owner's manuals with detailed photography and voice over explaining the features of the vehicle. When the discs were inserted into either an Apple or PC computer the presentation would automatically launch.
The CDs were programmed in the Adobe Flash language. After Effects and Photoshop were used to produce the video and imagery used on the discs. Screen savers were created for both the Apple and PC environments and were included on the CDs.
The CDs were built following a methodology jointly developed between Prion Interactive and Jak Media. This methodology involved the creation of code and work flow processes that sped up development time and allowed a high quality product to be created in a shorter time frame.
